It is safe to say that the two emcees might have had a pretty awkward run-in at the celeb-packed event.
Amid their growing feud, it certainly seems like Nicki didn’t care about making the meeting even more uncomfortable and so she proceeded to call Cardi out anyway.
While talking about her ‘seductress’ and ‘temptress’ look for the night, Minaj said: ‘You know what, because I am the bad guy. And I wanted to make sure the bad guy was here.’
She actually glared straight into the camera as she said this, obviously trying to send a message.
It totally makes sense considering Cardi also called her out not too long ago. It was her time to shoot back.
The rumors that they are feuding have been going around for a long time.
However, they seemed to deny them when they collabed on Migos’ track Motorsport.
But it sounds like working together on the song created even more drama.
Soon after the track was released, Cardi B revealed that Minaj’s verse was not the original one she recorded and that it had been changed.
Later on, it was reported that Nicki had dissed Cardi and that is why she was asked to change the lyrics.
Nicki was upset Cardi was talking about her publicly and revealed it was not her idea to change her verse.
‘How can you say someone changed their verse and forgot to say Quavo TOLD me to remove my singing part (which I loved) and Atlantic told me to remove your name from my verse per your request? So how were those changes gonna happen if I did not ‘change’ my verse?’ she tweeted.
Most recently, one Nicki fan criticized Cardi for shading her even though the fellow rapper was nothing but ‘nice’ to her.
‘Nice how? Tell me?’ the Bodak Yellow rapper simply replied.

‘NICKI THROWING SHADE AT CARDI B OMG,’ one fan tweeted.
‘So Nicki just let @enews know that she’s going to run up on Cardi in the bathroom…reminds me of high school,’ another shared.
