Cardi B Reveals Her Baby’s Gender At The Met Gala!

While in attendance at the Met Gala last night, Cardi B talked about her pregnancy and she even told us all the sex of her baby! When asked about whether or not her baby is kicking her, Cardi said: ‘Oh, she wants to fight me! My dress weighs]about 35 pounds plus baby. It is OK though, I’m used to go up the project stairs.’

That’s right, the Bodak Yellow rapper definitely said ‘she!’

Fans remember that Cardi revealed she was expecting her very first baby, with fiancé Offset last month when she appeared on Saturday Night Live.

But this is not even the first time the emcee used female pronouns when talking about her yet unborn baby.

‘Shorty weighs three and a half pounds. She do! She do weigh three and a half pounds,’ Cardi said during a pre-Met Gala interview.

‘That’s pretty good for seven months, right? Because I was born five pounds,’ she added.

In addition to that, her sister Hennessy Carolina also hinted at the gender of Cardi’s baby in an Instagram post that she then deleted and rewrote, realizing she had accidentally revealed the gender!

‘I use to wish I was older than you just so I would’ve gotten the chance to carry and give you kisses when you were just a baby because you were so adorable! And NOW that ur baby is coming it’s like it is coming true! I am going to be able to hold baby you and give her all the kisses and hugs!’ Hennessy wrote.

Last month, Cardi told her fans she would be taking a break from the spotlight until after giving birth.

 ‘So I just wanted to make this a little clear and everything. Broccoli Fest will be my last performance for a little while. Shortie keep growing. I be looking like I be moving and everything, but in reality, a b**ch barely can breathe! I want to thank y’all for understanding. I’ll be back for the Bruno Mars tour and everything.’
