Melania Trump Slammed For Copying Michelle Obama’s ‘Be Better’ Idea

After announcing her ‘Be Best’ initiative today, Melania Trump got slammed by social media for apparently ripping off Michelle Obama’s White House Summit advice to ‘be better.’ This would not be the first time the current First Lady is accused of ‘getting inspired’ a little too much by the previous First Lady.

Twitter was quick to throw shade at Melania, accusing her of stealing Michelle Obama‘s words she used in her answer during an interview with Oprah Winfrey back in 2016.

‘What can men do leaving here?’ Oprah asked Michelle at the time.

‘Be better,’ she simply answered before she added: ‘Be better at everything.’

It is safe to say that was the moment that stuck out the most at the White House Summit and it quickly became iconic.

Now, after Melania announced that the name of her initiative is ‘Be Best’ Twitter had a lot of fun mocking her.

As you may be aware, the FLOTUS’ ‘Be Best’ is set to shed some light on the well-being of children, opioid abuse, and social media.

‘Michelle Obama: Be better, Melania Trump: Be best Melania cannot accept the fact that Michelle surpasses her in every way so she keeps stealing from her,’ one Twitter user wrote.

‘Melania Trump has a new campaign called Be Best. Step One: Steal Michelle Obama’s Be Better line and try to one-up her,’ another pointed out.

Surely enough, some also slammed the title’s incorrect grammar.

‘Melania trump: coins possibly the worst, grammatically-incorrect slogan ‘Be Best,’’ someone commented.

‘Melania Trump has a very heavy accent, but there’s no excuse for ‘Be Best’. WTF! Where’s Michelle Obama when you need her?’ another wrote.

 Neither one of the ladies has commented on the backlash at this time.
