Tonight, while on the Met Gala red carpet, 2 Chainz decided to make a very romantic proposal to his wife Nakesha Ward – he asked her to marry him again! Check out the moment caught on video!
It looks like this year’s Met Gala is turning out to be an event to remember for many people and for many reasons!

Just as the red carpet was starting to fill up with celebs, 2 Chainz quietly asked Nakesha to be his wife, and he even did the dropping down on one knee and everything!
But the thing is…the two are already a married couple.

We have learned that the rapper really wanted to upgrade his wife’s engagement ring and thought the best place to do it would be at the Met Gala.

This really proves that the two have an amazing relationship and that their love for each other is just as strong as ever, if not stronger!

Him giving her another ring, probably more expensive and more beautiful even though he did not need to do such a thing brings hope that true love really exists.

Not to mention that celebs are not really known for having long-term relationships or even staying faithful so this kind of thing is truly rare.

So unexpected, right? The pair was just climbing the stairs of the Metropolitan Museum of Art when 2 Chainz suddenly came to a halt and pulled out the ring, dropping to one knee in front of her.

Obviously, Nakesha said yes and was ecstatic to show off her huge diamond ring to the rest of the venue as she twirled her hand around. Aren’t they so cute?
