Kim Kardashian Is “Not Surprised” By Kanye West’s Slavery Comments

As the world knows by now, Kanye West sparked a massive media outcry from both the intelligentsia and members of the hip-hop community when he suggested that “slavery was a choice” while on the show, TMZ, in an interview with its founder, Harvey Levin.

During his live appearance on the tabloid talk show, the rapper said that to him, it seems as though black people’s problem in America today is not their history of oppression or institutionalized racism, but a problem of mindset.

As a result of his comments, the outcry was swift, and many people in the black community were not pleased, including Eve, will.I.am, and Chris Brown.

will.I.am, for instance, said that Kanye’s comments, if they were genuine, were incredibly offensive to him, because his grandmother was a slave.

However, if his remarks were merely a part of a publicity stunt, he advocates for the rapper to give away his shoes from now on, and also give away the upcoming album that he announced would be coming out next month, in June.

And while many people have assumed it’s part of Kanye’s typical strategy of self-promotion, some are surprised, but one of those people who aren’t, is his wife, Kim Kardashian.

According to our sources, “Kim is literally around Kanye all of the time. They’re married, she knows what his opinions are like, and she knows what he believes in.”

The source added, “the type of stuff Kanye says is normal for her. She knows all about it, and it’s partially the reason why she married him. Kanye is eccentric. He is an original creator and the type of person who trailblazes fashion and trends. If it wasn’t for his audacity, he would have nothing.”
