Last night’s season finale of “Vanderpump Rules” was definitely something to talk about. Besides the Brittany Cartwright and Jax Taylor split, Jax’s resignation, and the pre-pre-opening of TomTom, there was a jaw -dropping moment that happened when Stassi Schroeder’s boyfriend (at the time) met Lisa Vanderpump.
After being on and off for four years, Patrick Meagher and Stassi Schroeder were finally getting it together at the beginning of the season but shattering towards the end.
The time came where Stassi thought she could finally introduce her beau to LVP herself and it didn’t go as expected.
It turns out that Lisa met Patrick once before at his radio show where she gave him a friendly wave. Patrick, who didn’t really seem to remember the meeting, decided to make an awkward comment that was along the lines of “I liked seeing you walk away.”
The conversation took an even more awkward turn when LVP tries to speak with Stassi again. This time trying to encourage her to be with someone who makes her happy.
Patrick took it as an insult and asked Lisa why she’d say that with him sitting there. The Housewife explains that she meant if Stassi was happy with him, then she’s supportive of their relationship.
Somehow, Patrick took it as a sign to make the same comment again and took it even further by saying: “I still think you have a good a**. Still like to see you leave, girl.”
The uncomfortable moment was written all over Lisa’s face and she recently sat down with The Daily Dish to talk about it.
“I thought he behaved like a d***head, I really do. He said something like, ‘Oh, yeah, we’ve met before, and I enjoyed seeing the back of you.’ And I suddenly thought that’s largely inappropriate because was he saying he was glad when I walked away or was he glad he was checking out my a**? Either way, I was in front of his girlfriend, and I just met him and I’m old enough to be his grandmother or mother, whatever. But he was just a bit of a twit.”
She went on to say: “He might be a nice guy, but in that moment, the very short interaction I had with him, he wasn’t nice. He really wasn’t. And he had no reason not to be.”
Stassi, Kristen Doute, and James Kennedy all had their own negative reaction to the moment on the “Vanderpump Rules After Show” that you can find on the Bravo website.
