Momma Dee has always been a very open and honest person when it comes to her private life. In last night’s episode of “Love and Hip Hop Atlanta,” the “I Deserve” singer told her friend, KK, why she has been struggling more than usual lately.
As you already probably know, Momma Dee married her love interest on-and-off for many years, Ernest. During last season, she complained that her man was too much of a mama’s boy and it was affecting their sex life.
To make matters worse, Dee’s husband wasn’t helping pay the bills. Where we last left off it seemed that the couple was getting it together, but we may have spoken too soon.
Momma Dee recently had plastic surgery, while recovering she invites over Scrapp Deleon’s mother. The friends get to chatting and the reality star reveals that Ernest went missing.
She explains how she had no idea if he was even alive so she contacted his mother who instructed her where he was staying.
Momma Dee found her husband on an apparent drug bender where he was doing “crack cocaine powder.”
The story was sad considering that Ernest had been sober for 22 years now.
She explains: “I thought Ernest had beat those demons, but obviously he’s succumbed to them once again.”
KK’s advice was to try to work it out with her husband who she promised to be there for through thick and thin.
This isn’t the first time Momma Dee aired everything out for the public to see.
During a fight with her beau, the glam-ma tweeted: “What I want the world 2 understand is that I do struggle with Bi Polar & an occasional cocktail but let’s talk bout my husband shall we? He smokes 5 cigarettes in a matter of 20 minutes, he has never been to the doctor for a physical except for the one they give you in jail. And he doesn’t believe in paying bills.. He works 2 jobs that I pulled to give him & when we fight he threatens 2 move 2 his mommas house!!”
Hopefully, Ernest is getting the help he needs and finds his way back to sobriety.
