Tarek Moussa is not having the best time. The reality TV star took to social media to tell his many followers that he has unfortunately suffered yet another back injury and it’s so bad that he can barely walk!
As fans of Flip or Flop know already, Tarek injured his back in 2014 as well and has been very open about his struggle as well as the aftermath of his surgery that impacted his overall health a lot.
The man shared a pic of him in the hospital, captioning it: ‘Unfortunately… I injured my back again… it’s very scary. Last time I lost fifty pounds and I was taking great amounts of pain meds to try and help with the pain. Truthfully, those meds affected my mental and physical state and changed who I was.’
He went on: ‘Last time I hurt my back it took me a year and a half to recover. As of today I can barely walk … I honestly cannot even believe this is happening, I feel like it is a bad dream that I’ll wake up from.’
Oh no, that sounds really bad!
However, Tarek made it very clear that even though he feels ‘very down’ about the injury, he is not going to give up the ‘fight to get healthy again.’
‘I’ll be truthful and say I am very down because of this. It’s going to take a lot of positivity and strength to go through all of this a second time. I’ll stay positive and will fight to get healthy again. I appreciate all your support. T.’
The star has always been open about his health problems, including his testicular as well as thyroid cancer battles.
Back in December of last year, Tarek said during an interview: ‘The last years were horrific. I got done with one cancer battle and right after I got another cancer. And then, a couple of months after I was recovering from that, I injured my back and was in terrible pain for 10 months. Then I had a surgery with complications. For a few years, I went through physical and mental help. It was difficult, but at the same time, I did everything to stay positive.’
